Money Grows when you save with the Credit Union
Our young people have the chance to save ethically in school with the Credit Union. Money management is an important life skill; it's never too early to start developing that skill. In the words of our logo competition winner, Morgan Cooper, 'Money doesn't grow on trees but it does with the Credit Union'.

Our Credit Union is part of the Blantyre and South Lanarkshire Credit Union. Our teams of cashiers are supported by Mrs Baxter in school, and by Myra and Jennifer from the B&SL Credit Union; our cashiers have been fully trained and are very capable.We also have a Development Team responsible for keeping us informed by way of posters and information leaflets.

Eco Committee

Our Eco-Group are busy getting the school garden ready for summer, planting the seeds and trays pupils brought in during Eco-Week.
Fairtrade

During these 2 weeks the children’s learning across the school was enhanced by Interdisciplinary Learning on the Fairtrade theme allowing them the opportunity to participate and take responsibility for their decisions. It also encouraged critical thinking, and offered opportunities for challenge and confidence building.
